The very first step is to submit the MSDS, this is so we can determine whether we have shipped the product before and/or the compatibility with the tank materials.

We have presence in over 60 countries. For more remote locations we can offer mobile fitting facilities, we can review this on a case by case basis. All our fitting depots are extensively trained for our Flexitanks products.

We have created a set of strict guidelines in container selection and specification which goes out to all the shipping lines we use.

• 5 years old or less (check manufacturers label plate)
• 30 ton rated
• Full side wall corrugation (90 degree wherever possible) – Absolutely no decal or marker panels
• Vertical recess in rear corner post assemblies to accept bulkhead-fixing bolts.
• 2 fully operative locking bars on each door
• No hazardous cargo warning labels
• Container free from holes, debris, sharp edges, burrs, floor splinters or loose floor screws, dents or any such welds or similar repair on the inside surfaces of the container that may cause damage to the flexitank
• All interior surfaces to be free from stains and sources of contamination which may damage the flexitank material or leach into the liquid cargo

Any container not meeting the above standards requires the approval from Trans Ocean prior to use.

Depending on your individual requirements, sometimes there is a need for something special 'a customised solution', or something other than our 'standard Flexitank equipment'. Our global technical team will work closely with sales and operations representatives to understand your specific requirements to best suit your shipments.

We can arrange technical (on site) attendance for any 1st time loadings. This will be reviewed on a case by case evaluation. This will involve any training of fitting (if applicable), and loading the Flexitank by pump. This can be carried out by either our in-house team or by our global agent network.

Trans Ocean offers a full door to door logistics service, with order tracking and customer support.

Depending on location and a case by case evaluation we can arrange ‘hands on’ training for your staff to discharge the tanks safely. This can be carried out by either our in-house team or by our global agent network.

All of our products are recyclable. Our network can also assist with the disposal of residue product in compliance with local directives.
